The goal of the project was to provide complete blackout for 3 large windows and 10 standard-sized windows on the ground floor and balcony of the main hall, as well as effective shading, blackout, and acoustic control for the stage area. All shading elements had to perfectly match the building's interior and respect its timeless character. The windows were fitted with cassette systems - blinds in compact boxes with side rails that ensure a clean and contemporary appearance.
The smaller windows were equipped with manually operated chain-controlled blinds mounted on the wall, while the large-format windows were fitted with motorized blinds controlled by remote control installed in the window reveals.
The stage area required two motorized curtains made of grey blackout fabric and an additional 13 black curtains in various formats to block out lighting and improve acoustic performance. The stage curtain was mounted on a ceiling track system providing maximum stability and easy operation. All elements were carefully selected to harmonise with the interior and emphasize the timeless character of the cultural building.
From a technical standpoint, the Dobronín cultural house project was demanding and required thorough preparation and a highly skilled installation team. The biggest challenge was the installation at heights — especially the large-format blinds measuring 2.5 × 5 metres and the main stage curtain with impressive dimensions of 8.2 × 5 metres. Handling such large-format elements required maximum precision, strict adherence to safety procedures and flawless coordination at every step.
A key factor in our success was the excellent cooperation with our B2B partner Bellaventa, whose team approached the project with high professionalism and flexibility. Big thanks also go to the municipality of Dobronín and local residents, including the mayor, who provided a supportive and cooperative environment throughout the installation. Mutual trust, precise preparation, and the experience of everyone involved allowed us to complete even the most demanding project phases without compromise.
